Definition of Services

For the purposes of this agreement, “services” include all experiences, equipment, and amenities offered by Grace & Ground Retreat LLC, including but not limited to massage chairs, aroma inhalers, refreshments, beverages, and merchandise.

Non-Medical Services Disclaimer

Grace & Ground Retreat provides relaxation experiences using automated massage chairs in a calm and supportive environment. These services are offered for comfort and relaxation only and are not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure any medical condition.

Grace & Ground Retreat does not provide massage therapy, medical treatment, or healthcare services. Guests should consult a qualified healthcare professional for any medical concerns.

Health Acknowledgment

By booking a session at Grace & Ground Retreat, I acknowledge that the services offered are for relaxation purposes only.

I understand that massage chairs apply heat, pressure, movement, rolling, and vibration to the body. I confirm that I do not have any medical conditions that would make participation unsafe.

If I have any health concerns, including but not limited to pregnancy, recent surgery, severe osteoporosis, spinal conditions, allergies, sensitivities, or implanted medical devices, I agree to consult my healthcare provider before participating.

I acknowledge that I am solely responsible for my health and any medical conditions, and I agree that Grace & Ground Retreat LLC is not liable for any outcomes related to my participation.

Massage Chair & Equipment Acknowledgment

I understand that Grace & Ground Retreat utilizes automated massage chairs that apply mechanical pressure, kneading, rolling, compression, heat and vibration to the body.

I acknowledge that I am responsible for selecting settings that feel appropriate for my body and that I may adjust or stop the session at any time.

By participating, I confirm that I am choosing to use the equipment voluntarily and accept full responsibility for my comfort and physical condition during and after the session.

Pregnancy Acknowledgment

For safety reasons, Grace & Ground Retreat does not recommend the use of massage chairs during pregnancy.

By booking a session, I confirm that I am not pregnant. If I am pregnant or believe I may be pregnant, I understand that I should not participate in massage chair sessions at Grace & Ground Retreat.

Assumption of Risk

I understand that participation in services at Grace & Ground Retreat, including but not limited to massage chairs, aroma inhalers, refreshments, beverages, merchandise, and other amenities, involves inherent risks. These may include, but are not limited to, muscle soreness, pressure discomfort, allergic reactions, sensitivity to scents or ingredients, or minor physical strain.

By choosing to participate, I voluntarily assume all such risks and accept full responsibility for any effects that may occur during or after my visit.

Release of Liability

By participating in services at Grace & Ground Retreat, I voluntarily assume all risks associated with the use of equipment, products, and amenities provided.

I hereby release, waive, and hold harmless Grace & Ground Retreat LLC, its owner, staff, and representatives from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action, including those arising from negligence, related to any injury, discomfort, allergic reaction, or loss that may occur as a result of participation.

Personal Responsibility Agreement

I understand that these experiences are designed to support rest and comfort. I agree to listen to my body and discontinue use of any equipment or product if I experience pain, dizziness, or discomfort.

I agree to use all equipment and amenities responsibly and follow any guidance provided.

Late Arrival Policy

Sessions begin and end at their scheduled time to honor each guest’s experience. Late arrivals may result in a shortened session, and the full session fee will still apply.

Personal Property

Grace & Ground Retreat is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings.

Minimum Age Policy

Sessions are designed for adult guests seeking a quiet and restorative environment. Guests must be at least 18 years of age to participate.

Exceptions may be made at the sole discretion of the owner. In such cases, a parent or legal guardian must be present and sign all required release forms.

Right to Refuse Service

Grace & Ground Retreat is a space intentionally created for peace, rest, and respect for all who enter.

To protect this environment, we reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service at the sole discretion of the owner. This may include, but is not limited to, individuals who are disruptive, disrespectful to the space or equipment, or whose behavior may impact the comfort, safety, or experience of others.

Electronic Agreement & Consent

By booking a session through the Grace & Ground Retreat website or scheduling system, I acknowledge that I have read and understand this Guest Policies & Participation Agreement.

Checking the acknowledgment box and submitting my booking constitutes my electronic agreement to these terms.

Guest Confirmation

By booking a session at Grace & Ground Retreat, I confirm that I have read, understood, and agree to all terms outlined above.
